We are now looking for a SE_Demand Planner-C to Hitachi Energy Sweden AB in Piteå.

Description:
Generate unconstrained, short term and long term, demand plan and finished goods rationalization in close coordination with relevant functions. Responsible for customer order management (registration and order acknowledgement). In collaboration with sales and production management, generate detailed production plan and release production orders with respect of available resources (capacity and material). Lead planning meetings and be the, internal and external, first point of contact in planning topics.
Creates and maintains rolling unconstrained demand forecasts for assigned products. Assembles and analyses all data pertinent to creating an unconstrained demand plan. Supports Sales by providing guidance on global demand for specific products.

Additional Hiring Information for Supplier:
Ongoing project to align all units and regions into one single ERP system. For Piteå factory this work is currently ramping up with aim to go live in July 2024. Our current Demand Planner will join the project as subject matter expert for the local implementation. Because of this we need to backfill the position as Demand Planner during the project. The demand planner will be part of the unit for Planning/SCM currently consisting of 6 persons and report to Manager for Planning/SCM.

About the job:
-Based on customer needs, material and capacity availability, create production plan for long and short term.
-Generate overall production plan and translate this into a detailed production plan from which you generate pro-duction orders.
-On a daily basis, interact with production, purchasing and other departments to ensure deliveries and prevent delays.
-Responsible for order management with close contact with our customers.
-Lead planning meetings and act as first point of contact for all planning topics.

Your background:
-Experience in planning and/or logistics is mandatory.
-Experience of working with ERP systems is mandatory.
-Academic education in planning, logistics or production is a merit.
-Experience of working in a global organization is a merit.
-Excellent communication skills. You speak and write Swedish and English fluently.
-You are driven, responsible and structured with the ability to both immerse yourself in details and think holistically.

NOTE:

  • Remote work: yes but not more than 1-1.5 days / week.
  • Extension: likely to be 18 months.
  • English and Swedish: is mandatory.
  • Start date: ideally September but October is also fine.

If we end up in a contract the consultant must undergo a drug test before the assignment can start. The consultant then also must have a certificate for SSG-Entré and sign a NDA.

Some remote work WITHIN SWEDEN is possible, but not more than 1-1.5 days / week.
