We are now looking for a SE_Electrical Engineering – Principal Engineer (Level 4) to Hitachi Energy Sweden AB in V\u00e4ster\u00e5s.<\/p>\n

Relay Protection Specialist<\/strong>
We are seeking an experienced Relay Protection Specialist to support multiple ongoing projects within our Control & Protection Engineering team. You will provide expert support to ensure high quality protection soltions for substations in the transmission and distribution grid.<\/p>\n

Additional Hiring Information for Supplier:<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\u2022 Develop relay protection solutions (HE, GE, Siemens).
\u2022 Perform protection settings and selectivity studies.
\u2022 Review drawings, signal lists, and technical documentation.
\u2022 Support project managers, test leads, and installation teams.
\u2022 Participate in FAT\/SAT and assist troubleshooting in delivery projects.<\/p>\n

Consultant Profile:
<\/strong>\u2022 Degree in Electrical Power Engineering or equivalent.
\u2022 Experience in relay protection design, commissioning, or troubleshooting.
\u2022 Strong understanding of power system behavior and protection principles.
\u2022 Familiarity with IED platforms (ABB\/Hitachi Energy, Siemens, Schneider).
\u2022 Knowledge of SvK (Svenska kraftn\u00e4t) and Vattenfall standards, processes, and technical require-ments is highly valuable.
\u2022 Able to work independently and deliver within a project driven environment.
\u2022 Good communication skills in English and Swedish.
