We are now looking for a Solutions architect with competence level 3 to NCC (see appendix NCC Competence Levels).<\/strong><\/p>\n

The role is based out of NCC at Herrj\u00e4rva torg 4, Solna. The contract is valid 6 month with the possibility of extension.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

This position can be in Stockholm or Gothenburg, but you will be working closely with NCC\u00b4s stakeholders mostly located at the office in Solna. The position may require some travelling within the Scandinavian countries.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
As a Solution Architect in NCC\u2019s data\u2011driven Environmental Solutions team, you will play a key role in developing solutions for collecting, structuring, and ensuring the quality of environmental data. The team is a central part of NCC\u2019s sustainability and reporting capabilities, providing the foundation for climate calculations, compliance, and ESRS reporting. In this role, you translate business needs into robust and scalable designs while coordinating technical work across product teams, data engineers, integration specialists, and external partners. We are looking for someone with experience in environmental reporting and strong analytical skills, able to understand the technical data foundations as well as how environmental data creates value across the organisation. You will also serve as an expert advisor, supporting the wider organisation in matters related to environmental data and its use.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
As a member of the Solution architect team, you will together with your team members design specific solutions that meet business requirements and constraints as well as IT operational and non-business requirements.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Your role and key responsibilities
<\/strong><\/div>\n
We need a Solutions Architect with proven experience in structured architectural work, including analysis, mapping of information flows, and system interactions. The candidate must have strong knowledge of data science principles and information modeling and be able to articulate the importance of stable and business-driven information models in complex IT landscapes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Experience with ArchiMate modeling in Sparx Enterprise Architect is required. The candidate must also have documented experience in information security work, including assessing protection needs of information assets and applying ISO 27000 controls in close collaboration with other information security specialists.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
A background in software development is considered a significant advantage, as it provides a deeper understanding of technical constraints and opportunities as well as how architectural decisions impact implementation and operations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
The role requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to understand business needs and translate them into architecture, requirements, and solution proposals. The person must be capable of taking a technical leadership role in projects and creating clarity, structure, and alignment in complex or uncertain situations. Strong communication skills are essential, both at a technical and business level.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
The position requires complete fluency in both Swedish and English, in speech and writing. The role will also require adapting NCC’s working methods and existing governance.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
