Description:
Project Management is responsible for;
• Project execution, contract compliance, Hitachi Energy’s customer´s satisfaction/target fulfilment and financial results, for a project, or
• in a sub-project of a large project for the execution, contract compliance, Hitachi Energy’s customer´s satisfaction /target fulfilment and financial results. This typically includes negotiations with suppliers and Hitachi Energy’s customer representatives as well as handling deviations/claims.
Senior Project Manager: Lead the execution of medium size to large and moderately complex customer projects and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with HITACHI ENERGY policies, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments. Leads the project team, establishes the project execution approach, and oversees project hand-over, execution planning, and monitoring and control activities for both internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
Senior Project Manager with the support of project team is responsible for successful execution /delivery of assigned project(s) on-time, within budget with on- quality & safety framework of HITACHI ENERGY.
– HITACHI ENERGY Certified Senior Project Manager or PMP® Certified Senior Project Manager or IPMA Level B/C certification.
– Ability to work with projects of different size, complexity and contractual types.
– Ability to assess, propose and implement solutions for rapid recovery of troubled or challenged projects (need based).
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
• Minimum six (6) years’ experience managing projects, ideally managing complex projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering with domain experience in HITACHI ENERGY business, or
• Another technical degree with 10-15 years of work experience within relevant field.
• Communicate fluent in English language.

URGENT REQUIREMENT
Project Manager in the HVDC Automation department.
The automation department manages the deliveries of different sub-systems of a HVDC transmission system including overall SCADA system, AC substation Control & Protection, communication including Cyber Security and Telecom equipment.
The automation part of an HVDC project is a small part or the total, but it has many interfaces and stakeholders which demands proper attention and managing throughout the whole project execution.
Requirements:
- Work onsite in Västerås (remote work possible 2 days a week, can be discussed).
- Min 8 years experience from automation projects in the energy sector, particularly Substation automation.
- Vast experience in managing project teams and suppliers – large, complex projects management.
- Proficient and fluent in English and Swedish, German is a big plus but not mandatory.
- Good technical understanding of substations / automation.
- Sociable communicator.
- Structured and organised.
- Leader mindset.
- Collaborative (cross functionally and externally with clients).
- Ability to push back and think critically for the benefit of the organisation and the project.
- SC management expertise.
EXPLANATION ON LEVELS:
Levels with numbers (1-5): Increasing experience from 1=Very Junior up to 5=Very Experienced
Levels with letters (A-F): Increasing experience from F=Very Junior up to A=Very Experienced

PLEASE NOTE: From the offered hourly rate, the contractual fee of 4.23% (MSP 2,13% + KeyMan 2,1%) will be deducted.
If we end up in a contract the consultant must undergo a drug test before the assignment can start. The consultant then also must have a certificate for SSG-Entré and sign a NDA.
