Description:
Environmental and Employee Health & Safety work encompasses activities related to the environment (including the broader community impacted by environmental hazards) and employees including: Developing and implementing policies and practices to identify/mitigate hazardous conditions within the workplace and external environments. Investigating accidents and environmental incidents and liaising with engineers, management, and health and safety regulatory authorities to identify causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence. Providing advice and training on safety protocols and conducting audits to ensure compliance with organization and government standards related to environmental and employee heath and safety. Maintaining relationships with the community, environmental groups, and other stakeholders impacted by the environmental performance of the organization.
A Senior Professional (P3) applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities may include: Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision. Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.

Your responsibilities
• Drive and promote a strong HSE culture within assembly manager at Ludvika HVDC assembly. Support and coach responsible managers and key functions on how to act and what to do.
• Conclude and analyze the HSE stakeholder requirements, incident investigations and audit result on an overall level to see patterns, root causes, risks and trends within the organization.
• Deliver value-added findings, opportunities for improvements and best practices in a constantly changing and growing environment.
• Train, coach and support the organization in Health and Safety issues.
• Provide assistance and support to external and internal audit team as required. Perform or support internal audits of management systems against the requirements of ISO 45001:2018.
• Lead/assist in the performance of special reviews as well as hazards and incident investigations as assigned.

• Background working with health and safety topics.

• You have solid communication and influencing skills to address and build trust with people on different organizational levels.
• As you will be part of an international environment English is a must, both written and spoken. Local presence required and Swedish is a must.
• You have a university degree in bachelor or master´s, preferably within health and safety, or related field. Competence and knowledge in Swedish work environmental legislation is a must.
• Knowledge of the ISO 45001:2015, experience from Bas P/Bas U, Safety by design including experience of improvement work within health and safety is required.
• Knowledge of TIA.
EXPLANATION ON LEVELS:
Levels with numbers (1-5): Increasing experience from 1=Very Junior up to 5=Very Experienced
Levels with letters (A-F): Increasing experience from F=Very Junior up to A=Very Experienced

PLEASE NOTE: From the offered hourly rate, the contractual fee of 4.23% (MSP 2,13% + KeyMan 2,1%) will be deducted.
If we end up in a contract the consultant must undergo a drug test before the assignment can start. The consultant then also must have a certificate for SSG-Entré and sign a NDA.
The assignment is Onsite.
