We are now looking for a SE_Power Systems Engineering – Senior Engineer (Level 3) to Hitachi Energy Sweden AB in Ludvika.

Description:
Power systems engineering includes the planning, design, development, testing, installation, and co-ordination of related activities involving HV electrical systems and the main components. It also co-ordinates activities internally and with other groups to effectively accomplish objectives requiring knowledge of associated functions and related engineering fields. Use computers and selected programs for such matters as preparing reports and conducting analyses, e.g., cable calculations.

Independently perform various engineering duties requiring the exercise of judgment and application of standard engineering principles and practices, towards set goals. Plan, conduct or coordinate a range of complex engineering activities encompassing one or more engineering disciplines. Conduct or coordinate complex analyses, advanced technical studies and develop recommendations based on sound engineering practices and business considerations as well as potentially legal and other agency requirements.

Minimum requirements of education and experience:
• Minimum six (6) years of work experience within the relevant field and a bachelor or master’s degree, or
• Another technical degree with more than 15 years of work experience within relevant field.
• Working command of the English language.

Factory system test leader

Responsibilities :
1. Responsible for insight and understanding of current customer specification.
2. Ensure that procedures and processes used in FST are known and respected.
3. Secure that test quality is maintained and appoint reviewers of test results. Ensure that said reviewers are allocated for approving test results.
4. Responsible for highlighting incoming delays.
6. Monitor Test management database, Punch lists, Issue tracking in Azure for C&P Base, RO database.
7. Responsible for System ITP and FST Report.

Main Work tasks:
1. Ensure quality and progress in FST.
2. With team members perform FST-meetings.
3. Planning for expert tests in applicable phases.
4. Follow up the punch list , feedback from expert tests and test plans.
5. Take part in cross functional test meetings.

Authorities:
1. To stop work if the quality or HSE is unsatisfactory.
2. Part of review and approval of the time plan.

NOTE:

  • Remote work: 0% 
  • Extension possible. 
  • Swedish not mandatory but good to have.

EXPLANATION ON LEVELS:
Levels with numbers (1-5): Increasing experience from 1=Very Junior up to 5=Very Experienced
Levels with letters (A-F): Increasing experience from F=Very Junior up to A=Very Experienced

If we end up in a contract the consultant must undergo a drug test before the assignment can start. The consultant then also must have a certificate for SSG-Entré and sign a NDA.

The assignment is Onsite.
