Övergripande uppdragsbeskrivning

We are now searching for an Information Architect to our customer.

Background:

The customer is embarking on a strategic transition to a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Their aim is to optimize the business processes, improve cross-departmental information flow, and enhance the data management capabilities. To this end, we are seeking an experienced Information Architect who can provide expertise in the documentation of the customer’s current state information systems as well as be a part in the design of information structures for their new ERP system.

Role description and objectives:

· You will be part of the program data stream and report to the data stream lead.

· Close collaboration with the customer’s internal staff, project teams and external vendors.

· Analyze and evaluate existing information structures and data models.

· Collaborate with business analysts to define and standardize data requirements.

· Ensure that the customer in the design act in coherence with the information governance strategies.

· Be part of and facilitate data modeling and information flow design workshops.

· Assist in data migration and data transformation activities.

· Ensuring that they stick to the target architecture for the scope’s information, and that any deviations are raised and decided according to the customer’s governance model.

Location and Mobility:

· Necessary to participate in a considerable number of live workshops in Stockholm.

· Some workshops might also be held at other sites where the customer is operating.

Skallkrav

At least 5 years of relevant experience as an Information Architect
Strong understanding of ERP concepts and experience in working with ERP implementations as an Information Architect.
Experience with data modeling, data design, and information management principles
Strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a cross-functional environment
Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both oral and written
Relevant degree in IT, Information Systems, or equivalent
Hands on individual that produce materials and can step into systems to analyze and retrieve data
Good proven understanding of the processes and concepts within the manufacturing industry
Enough knowledge about SAP concepts and solutions within information architecture to enable communication with System Integrators and SAP experts
