Description:
Electrical/Electronic Engineering encompasses the planning, design, development, testing, installation, and co-ordination of related activities involving electrical/electronic components and systems, including automation. It also co-ordinates activities internally and with other groups to effectively accomplish objectives requiring knowledge of associated functions and related engineering fields. Use computers and selected programs for such matters as preparing reports and conducting analyses.
Under general guidance of supervisor or more experienced engineer, perform various engineering duties requiring the exercise of judgment and application of standard engineering principles and practices. Pursue initiatives to improve effectiveness of the group and increase customer satisfaction or full fill legal or other agency requirements.
Minimum requirements of education and experience:
• 2-6 years of work experience within the relevant field and a bachelor or master’s degree, or
• Another technical degree with 10-15 years of work experience within relevant field.
• Working command of the English language.

Summary:
- The Valve cooling project engineer is responsible to design a project specific cooling system from specifying the requirements, review of detailed mechanical designs, design of control and protection system, testing the system and commissioning it at site.
- After 6 months of starting to work in this position, there is a possibility to work 41% remotely. There are test and commissioning tasks that can not be done remotely.
- Proficiency is English is required. You will be part of an international team.
• You will see projects through, from requirement specification to the commissioning of the cooling systems on our customer sites.
• Including creation of the requirement for the cooling systems, programming of control functions and testing of the cooling systems.
• Your role will also consist of both design and coordination work, and you will be the link between the different HVDC departments in Hitachi Energy and the suppliers within the project.
• The position requires ability to work at site (2-4 weeks) a few times per year.

• You hold a Bachelor or Master degree within Electrical engineering or equal through experience.

PLEASE NOTE: From the offered hourly rate, the contractual fee of 4.23% will be deducted.
If we end up in a contract the consultant must undergo a drug test before the assignment can start. The consultant then also must have a certificate for SSG-Entré and sign a NDA.
The assignment is Onsite at first, however: After 6 months of starting to work in this position, there is a possibility to work 41% remotely. There are test and commissioning tasks that can not be done remotely.
