Description:
Mechanical Engineering encompasses a variety of engineering assignments such as planning, designing, and modifying machinery, equipment, and products. It also co-ordinates activities internally and with other groups to effectively accomplish objectives requiring knowledge of associated functions and related engineering fields. Use computers and selected programs for such matters as preparing reports and conducting analyses.
Independently perform various engineering duties requiring the exercise of judgment and application of standard engineering principles and practices, towards set goals. Plan, conduct or coordinate a range of complex engineering activities encompassing one or more engineering disciplines. Conduct or coordinate complex analyses, advanced technical studies and develop recommendations based on sound engineering practices and business considerations as well as potentially legal and other agency requirements.
Minimum requirements of education and experience:
• Minimum six (6) years of work experience within the relevant field and a bachelor or master’s degree, or
• Another technical degree with more than 15 years of work experience within relevant field.
• Working command of the English language.
Additional Hiring Information for Supplier:
Hitachi Energy Cooling Systems manufactures, develops and sells clean water cooling systems for cooling electrically conductive components. Everything takes place in the same building in Landskrona.
We are looking for a consultant for the Department of Product Development (mechanical design). The department currently consists of 5 development engineers (mech).
The assignment will include concept development, 3D modeling of products, evaluation of new components, development of specifications and execution of system calculations etc ..
Our cooling systems consist of pumps, valves, instruments, heat exchangers, air-water coolers, various chiller solutions, expansion vessels, pipes in stainless steel, pipe supports and frame constructions.
The ability to communicate and collaborate with others is important as the job involves contacts with sellers, buyers, all parts of production, customers, external consultants and suppliers in Sweden and abroad.
- We are looking for a designer who has more than 6 years of experience working with similar designs.
- Experience from industrial cooling, water treatment, sewage treatment, biogas, ships, oil and gas or nuclear power is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of 3D modeling and CAD in general is a requirement.
- We work in Solid Edge, which is equal to Inventor and Solid Works.
- The business system is ERP-LN.
- Languages Swedish and English.
- The service is on site in Landskrona.
2-6 years of work experience within the relevant field.
Interview – Teams or F2F at Faktorigatan 6, Landskrona.
Remote work is possible, however I prefer to have our consultants on site, remote work is only allowed under some circumstances in dialogue with manager.
Swedish talking is a requirement.

PLEASE NOTE: From the offered hourly rate, the contractual fee of 4.23% will be deducted.
If we end up in a contract the consultant must undergo a drug test before the assignment can start. The consultant then also must have a certificate for SSG-Entré and sign a NDA.
Remote work is only allowed under some circumstances in dialogue with manager, however I prefer to have our consultants on site.
