Övergripande uppdragsbeskrivning
Description:
Project Management is responsible for:
• Project execution, contract compliance, Hitachi Energy’s customer´s satisfaction/target fulfilment and financial results, for a project, or
• in a sub-project of a large project for the execution, contract compliance, Hitachi Energy’s customer´s satisfaction /target fulfilment and financial results. This typically includes negotiations with suppliers and Hitachi Energy’s customer representatives as well as handling deviations/claims.
Senior Project Manager:
Lead the execution of medium size to large and moderately complex customer projects and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with HITACHI ENERGY policies, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments. Leads the project team, establishes the project execution approach, and oversees project hand-over, execution planning, and monitoring and control activities for both internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
Senior Project Manager with the support of project team is responsible for successful execution /delivery of assigned project(s) on-time, within budget with on- quality & safety framework of HITACHI ENERGY.
– HITACHI ENERGY Certified Senior Project Manager or PMP® Certified Senior Project Manager or IPMA Level B/C certification.
– Ability to work with projects of different size, complexity and contractual types.
– Ability to assess, propose and implement solutions for rapid recovery of troubled or challenged projects (need based).
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
• Minimum six (6) years’ experience managing projects, ideally managing complex projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering with domain experience in HITACHI ENERGY business, or
• Another technical degree with 10-15 years of work experience within relevant field.
• Communicate fluent in English language.
Additional Hiring Information for Supplier:
Project Management of 2-3 projects for MEA region, mainly north Africa for SCADA deliveries’.
We are looking for a Project Director that can handle 2-3 large projects in North Africa as first alternative but reallocations might shift.
Need to work on site in Sweden/Västerås to stay close to engineering team.
English a must in written and spoken language. French and Swedish is a plus.

PLEASE NOTE: From the offered hourly rate, the contractual fee of 4.23% will be deducted. For longer assignments, the tenure discount will also be deducted from the hourly fee.
Rules for tenure discount (see also enclosed “Terms for consulting assignments at Hitachi Energy Sweden AB via KeyMan, Rev. A 2023-02-27”):
6 months assignment: -1%
9 months assignment: -2%
12 months assignment: -4%
If we end up in a contract the consultant must undergo a drug test before the assignment can start. The consultant then also must have a certificate for SSG-Entré and sign a NDA.
The assignment is Onsite: Need to work on site in Sweden/Västerås to stay close to engineering team.
