Researching, evaluating, and recommending changes to production processes, systems, technology, or equipment to enhance organization’s production capabilities.
An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. May require the following proficiency: Works independently with general supervision. Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex. May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.

Production Planner at Surge Arresters
The opportunity
At Surge Arresters in Ludvika, we manufacture and sell valve arresters. New products are developed here and marketed both in Sweden and other parts of the world. A surge arrester protects against overvoltage and is an essential part of a reliable and energy-efficient power system. Surge Arresters has a high degree of automation with several robots, automation processes, electrical testing, process furnaces, fixtures, etc., and we produce around the clock in several sections of production. We are currently in a growth phase and are looking for someone who wants to join us and contribute to our exciting journey.
We are now looking for a driven production planner for Surge Arresters in Ludvika. Consultant will be part of a competent, committed and close-knit team that values a work culture where we have fun at work while delivering results.
In the role of production planner, the consultant will be responsible for planning a product in our production so that resources, materials and capacity are available to enable us to deliver our product. As a production planner, you will collaborate with several different units.
- Consultant will be responsible for planning and managing orders, as well as scheduling and optimising production work in the SAP business system.
- Consultant will prepare and update documentation.
- Consultant will allocate work orders to machines and production lines.
- Consultant will monitor and adjust planning as needed to manage changes and solve problems, such as quality and delivery challenges.
- In this role the consultant will actively participate in planning meetings and work closely with production, purchasing, project management and other internal functions to drive improvements and find cost-effective solutions.
- Have previous experience in production planning.
- Have experience from the manufacturing industry.
- It is an advantage if the consultant have a degree in economics, supply chain or other relevant education.
- Have good knowledge of business systems; experience of SAP is an advantage.
- Fluently in Swedish and English is required.
- As a person, the consultant needs to have strong analytical skills combined with creative problem-solving.
- Consultant needs to dare to take initiative, be curious and committed.
- Be structured and communicative person.
- Enjoy taking responsibility and working both independently and in a team.
- Can also handle stress and stay focused even when things get challenging.
- Are flexible and adaptable, which means the consultant will handle change and challenges with commitment and a positive attitude.

PLEASE NOTE: From the offered hourly rate, the contractual fee of 4.23% (MSP 2,13% + KeyMan 2,1%) will be deducted.
If we end up in a contract the consultant must undergo a drug test before the assignment can start. The consultant then also must have a certificate for SSG-Entré and sign a NDA.
The assignment is Onsite.
