Övergripande uppdragsbeskrivning
The assignment is to create a flexible strategic simulation model, capturing the full challenge of a logistic network (with presence in several countries). The work will iteratively be defined during the contract – but the final aim is to be able to support the strategic wish to define an ”ideal network of the future” (in 10+ years time) and to do that optional scenarios need to be simulated, to evaluate cost, quality.
The total time of the assignment will be fixed (a total of 12 man weeks), but not the exact final delivery. If the total time is reduced, it might affect the daily cost – and there will be pauses, when the work can rest, during the calender time frame. Therefore flexibility from both parties – and good communication during the assignment – is of essence.
Skallkrav
10+ years of senior experience in modelling with AnyLogic
A mindset and experience covering several modelling paradigms, at least Agent Based and Discrete Event modelling
A strong background and competence in object-oriented programming and Java
A background and experience covering several industries, categories of challenges, and abstraction levels
