Övergripande uppdragsbeskrivning
Description:
R&D Verification and validation (V&V) consists of being part of verification and validation planning, execution, documentation of results and communication of results back to our design teams. Verification and validation is conducted within the following technology areas, Electronics Hardware, Software, Field programmable gate arrays (FPGA) and Mechanics. Work processes and associated tools are provided, and the expectation is that processes are followed and provided tools are used unless other agreements are made.
Under general guidance of supervisor or more experienced engineer, perform various engineering duties requiring the exercise of judgment and application of standard engineering principles and practices. Pursue initiatives to improve effectiveness of the group and increase customer satisfaction or full fill legal or other agency requirements.
Minimum requirements of education and experience:
• 2-6 years of work experience within the relevant field and a bachelor or master’s degree, or
• Another technical degree with 10-15 years of work experience within relevant field.
• Working command of the English language.
Additional Hiring Information for Supplier:
Test Environment is to be created with the components of MACH Control System in the Test Lab Facility, with Computers, Servers, and Simulation Environments.
Write Test Cases / Scenarios for verifying the functionalities of the Control System like Communication, Analog and Digital Acquisitions etc.
Execution of Test Cases, for various software and hardware releases using the developed test cases in the test lab.
Report the test execution details to the development team for further actions.
Maintain the test environment with updated software and hardware for current and future use.
Automate tests wherever possible using our test automation framework.
Lead or share other responsibilities that are specific to the integration team. Examples include lab maintenance, license management, customer support etc.

Experience / Background:
• You hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Electrical engineering, Electronics engineering or another related field, and have an equivalent experience.
• An ISTQB certification, knowledge of software and/or hardware testing as well as 3 or more years of experience from embedded system development or testing will be to your advantage.
• Knowledge of graphical programming tools such as Hidraw, MACH platform, scripting languages and measurement instruments is qualifying, as is the experience of Test automation frameworks, Microsoft OS, SQL and Microsoft Team Foundation Server or Azure Devops.
• Proficiency in English is a must while Swedish is an added advantage.

PLEASE NOTE: From the offered hourly rate, the contractual fee of 4.23% (MSP 2,13% + KeyMan 2,1%) will be deducted.
If we end up in a contract the consultant must undergo a drug test before the assignment can start. The consultant then also must have a certificate for SSG-Entré and sign a NDA.
Some remote work WITHIN SWEDEN may be possible, but Onsite preferred.
