Övergripande uppdragsbeskrivning

We are now looking for a Solutions Architect & Information Security Specialist with competence level 4 to NCC

SECIM (Security Classified Management) initiative will focus around working with classified documentation (doc management in construction projects).

The role is based out of NCC at Herrjärva torg 4, Solna. The contract is valid 6 month with the possibility of extension.

This position can be in Stockholm or Gothenburg, but you will be working closely with our stakeholders mostly located at our office in Solna. The position may require some travelling within the Scandinavian countries.

Your role and key responsibilities

We need a Solutions Architect with proven experience in structured architectural work, including analysis, mapping of information flows, and system interactions. The candidate must have strong knowledge of data science principles and information modeling and be able to articulate the importance of stable and business-driven information models in complex IT landscapes.

Experience with ArchiMate modeling in Sparx Enterprise Architect is required. The candidate must also have documented experience in information security work, including assessing protection needs of information assets and applying ISO 27000 controls in close collaboration with other information security specialists.

A background in software development is considered a significant advantage, as it provides a deeper understanding of technical constraints and opportunities as well as how architectural decisions impact implementation and operations.

The role requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to understand business needs and translate them into architecture, requirements, and solution proposals. The person must be capable of taking a technical leadership role in projects and creating clarity, structure, and alignment in complex or uncertain situations. Strong communication skills are essential, both at a technical and business level.

The position requires complete fluency in both Swedish and English, in speech and writing. The role will also require adapting NCC’s working methods and existing governance.

Assignment information

SECIM (Security Classified Management) initiative will focus around working with classified documentation (doc management in construction projects).

As Solution Architect you will

• Deliver solution architecture – i.e. design documentation covering several viewpoints like process, application, information and infrastructure.
• Act as a key member of project teams and provide leadership in solution design and ensure the expected quality and cross functional alignment.
• Construct solution designs based on the principle of ”minimal viable product” whenever possible. This to secure an iterative end-to-end delivery to the business.
• Follow the architecture principles, guidelines and frameworks defined by NCCs IT strategy and architecture team – e.g. Integration, Security, Master data.
• Participate in architecture forums to provide input to the ongoing development and continuous work developing the solution architecture practice.

In this assignment, NCC will conduct a background check on the proposed consultant.

Skallkrav

• Strong inter-personal skills and you find it easy to interact with people on different organizational levels. You communicate effectively and can explain complex architecture matters with business interests.
• Several years of experience of IT work within solution design and development, preferably in large/complex organizations. You understand architectural problems and define efficient solutions.
• Experience from using design tools in modelling processes, information, application and infrastructure, preferrable Sparx Enterprise Architect.
• Strong ability to analyze and map information flows and system interactions.
• Deep understanding of data science principles and practical experience in information modeling, including ArchiMate modeling in Sparx Enterprise Architect (required).
• Documented experience in information security work, including information classification and protection needs assessments according to ISO 27000, and close collaboration with information security specialists.
• Capability to take on a technical leadership role in projects and create clarity, structure, and alignment in complex or uncertain situations.
• Fluent in both English and Swedish, both spoken and written.

Börkrav

• Prior work experience within the construction industry.
• Solution architecture in implementation-projects, all the way from design to implemented solution.
• Experience working in complex IT environments with integrations and multi-system landscapes.
• Understanding of IT governance, architectural principles, and methods.
• Previous background in software development (significant advantage).
• Experience in workshop facilitation and decision support.
• Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and modern integration platforms, especially Microsoft Azure.
