We are now looking for a SE_Electrical Engineering – Senior Engineer (Level 3) to Hitachi Energy Sweden AB in Landskrona.

Description:
Electrical/Electronic Engineering encompasses the planning, design, development, testing, installation, and co-ordination of related activities involving electrical/electronic components and systems, including automation. It also co-ordinates activities internally and with other groups to effectively accomplish objectives requiring knowledge of associated functions and related engineering fields. Use computers and selected programs for such matters as preparing reports and conducting analyses.

Independently perform various engineering duties requiring the exercise of judgment and application of standard engineering principles and practices, towards set goals. Plan, conduct or coordinate a range of complex engineering activities encompassing one or more engineering disciplines. Conduct or coordinate complex analyses, advanced technical studies and develop recommendations based on sound engineering practices and business considerations as well as potentially legal and other agency requirements.

Minimum requirements of education and experience:
• Minimum six (6) years of work experience within the relevant field and a bachelor or master’s degree, or
• Another technical degree with more than 15 years of work experience within relevant field.
• Working command of the English language.

TITLE: Electrical project engineering

TASKS
• Will work with customer specific solutions, in small, medium, and large projects.
• Need to understand Swedish, don’t need to speak it fluently.
• High level technical English required.
• No hybrid, no remote work allowed.
• CAD program to be used: Elprocad.
• Business system SAP/ERP..
• Travel abroad may be necessary.

BACKGROUND

Preferably Level 3 needed, Level 2 is also acceptable but then a new posting will be created for a level 2.
• Level 3 = Minimum six (6) years of work experience within the relevant field and a YH/KY, bachelor’s or master’s degree, or another technical degree with more than 15 years of work experience within relevant field.
• Level 2 = Minimum 2-6 years of work experience within the relevant field and a YH/KY, bachelor’s or master’s degree, or another technical degree with more than 10-15 years of work experience within relevant field.
• Electrical design of control cabinet for industrial machine and design of low voltage switchgear for motor control groups also called motor control center. (?1000V) Normal operation voltages range from 3ph 208/400VAC/480VAC/690VAC and control voltage from 24-220VDC.
o Electrical design = Creation of electrical drawings for construction and assembly, this includes se-lection of equipment.
• Relevant industry backgrounds – Machine manufacturers, Process plants, Treatment plants and water plants.
• At least familiar with the following design standard and certification.
o IEC61439
o IEC61000-6-2 / IEC 6100-6-4
o Machine directive 2006/42/EC
o CE certification
• Merit,
o Design of cable harnesses.
o UL and CSA certification
o Practical knowledge of building industrial machine cabinets (Electrician).

NOT WANTED: High voltage engineers, Commissioning/ test engineers, Power engineers, Building/property electrical engineers. Electronic engineers (RC)
