Ensure that activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are efficiently and cost-effectively executed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements. EngineeringDevelopment: As a technical lead for all Engineering disciplines – evaluates, selects and applies standard techniques, procedures and criteria to perform task or sequence of tasks, for conventional projects with few complex featuresExecutes assignments using established solutions Authorization: May act as a design authority for a particular engineering discipline and completes engineering assignments for that discipline.Constructionsupport: Collaborates on project installation, commissioning and site activities, clarifying potential issues or providing solutions to correct engineering errors.Provides technical support to commissioning and start-up activities.

Responsibilities:
- Act as an application engineer for our system deliveries to customers in Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania.
- Collaborate with our customers’ experts to configure our applications to meet the customer requirements.
- Work closely with customers to develop efficient and robust workflow integrations between SCADA/EMS/GMS systems and other IT/OT systems, leveraging state-of-the-art interface and integration technologies.
- Create and execute test plans and procedures with customers to ensure the system meets contractual requirements.
- Provide training to customers on operating EMS/GMS functions within the system.
- Coordinate and efficiently resolve technical problems reported by customers in collaboration with our technical team.
- Provide expert support to the proposals and tendering team, enabling Hitachi Energy to submit high quality bids.

- Master’s (or higher) degree in energy systems, electrical engineering, or computer science.
- Previous experience in the SCADA/EMS/GMS systems business.
- Understanding of Energy/Generation Management Systems and their components.
- Understanding of power transmission networks.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C and FORTRAN.
- Willingness to travel and work at our customer locations.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with an eagerness to thrive in a dynamic and multicultural environment.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, to effectively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
NOTE:
- Remote work: first 6 months office presence needed to learn the job, can be discussed later on.

PLEASE NOTE: From the offered hourly rate, the contractual fee of 4.23% (MSP 2,13% + KeyMan 2,1%) will be deducted.
If we end up in a contract the consultant must undergo a drug test before the assignment can start. The consultant then also must have a certificate for SSG-Entré and sign a NDA.
