Övergripande uppdragsbeskrivning
Background:
Our customer is at early stages of a program to roll-out SAP globally, and where the supply chain and production planning processes are a big part of the change scope. We are looking for an experienced architect to help navigate the architecture in these areas in the program. We are looking for a consultant with ample experience from the solution architect role within Supply Chain Planning E2E (not a pure technical profile).
Role description and objectives:
The goal of the solution architect is to ensure that the solution developed within the project is in line with the target architecture and supply chain business goals and requirements (or to ensure informed deviations as necessary). A key responsibility is to convert process industry requirements into to-be architecture and solutions. Document and communicate the solution architecture, including its relation to business requirements and the high-level target solution architecture (any deviations inclusive). Since this project will execute for several years ahead, the solution architect will play a main role when working up the solution roadmap and its different architecture states for supply chain planning over time. The responsibility also includes to discover the need for solution decisions / potential deviations from target, and to create decision basis as needed. To accomplish this, there will be extensive communication needed with various stakeholders: the supply chain process owner and business experts, architects, and system implementor staff.
Key responsibilities of this role:
• Ensure solution alignment with the organisations supply chain planning business requirements and target architecture. Manage informed deviations supported by clear decision basis as needed.
• Refine documentation of target solution architecture for supply chain planning as needed to support the transition.
• Refine documentation of current solution architecture for supply chain as needed to support the transition.
• Communicate the above with relevant stakeholders. This requires collaboration with project managers, business stakeholders (managers, experts), and other architects in the program.
• Work closely with group of architects within supply chain, both from the customer and from SI.
• Provide input to the program roadmap from a supply chain architecture perspective.
• Help business to understand if SAP standard solution is possible to use.
Location and Mobility:
•Location will be in HQ in Solna. Some work can be done remotely, but you need to be in place 2-3 days per week in Solna, up to 4 days during peaks.
•Travelling to the HQ in Solna and to paper mills will be necessary. Possible travel to North America if needed.
Skallkrav
Solution architect with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
Excellent analytical skills, being able to conclude the most important issues and questions from an architecture perspective within all the noise and issues floating around in a big transition program
Documented experience from supply chain, in particular Planning (strategic, tactical, operational).
Documented experience from at least one big ERP transformation
Documented experience from using SAP for supply chain, including IBP, PPDS and PP/QM.
The ability to communicate and drive complex questions among various stakeholders (management, business experts and IT staff).
Interest and experience to document and illustrate architecture.
Fluency in English and Swedish in both verbal and written
