They work very digitally, in their social media, to inspire and to be found when the target group searches for different destinations. It is therefore still important for the travel destination Sweden and the Swedish hospitality industry to be visible at the international tour operator level in order to reach and influence potential travelers to choose Sweden as a travel destination for their next holiday via this channel.

Within the framework of marketing the whole of Sweden and to cater for the need of Swedish destinations that want to work with travel trade in the UK, we mainly want to reach the target group The global traveler with an interest in Sweden in the UK through selected tour operators and travel agents.

Visit Sweden is therefore looking for a travel trade specialist who on assignment can be responsible for the project for Visit Sweden. For this assignment, Visit Sweden is looking for an experienced consultant.

Description of assignment
Upon request, for Swedish destination and companies, offer the product: “High-potential travel trade opportunities for market UK”. Provide market analysis and conduct meetings with relevant Tour Operators on behalf of client (Swedish destinations and companies) resulting in report including 2-3 quality leads for the client. Estimated time/offer: 28 hours – Visit Sweden is acting as project manager for the client.

Upon request, offer the add-on product: “Marketing Boost” for Swedish destinations to market their products and increase visibility in Tour Operator’s owned media channels and/or paid media – minimum invest from client 20 000 SEK/Tour Operator. Estimated time/offer: 4 hours/Marketing Boost including description, media plan suggestion, and results. Content/marketing material will be provided by client, but coordination will be done by consultant – Visit Sweden is acting as project manager for the client.

You have a curious mindset, is digital at heart, and have a great passion for social media, editorial content, SEO and creative production. You are used to working independently with planning and maintenance, as well as close together with managers in Sweden and other market specialists in the same role for high efficiency and alignment. At Visit Sweden you get to work with marketing Sweden to strengthen awareness, preference, and travel incentives in prioritized target groups on the dutch market. Main focus on organic work supported by bought media. Our mission is to drive sustainable travel so if you are certified or have experience in this area its a plus.

For this assignment, we need an experienced consultant.

Description of assignment
To carry out continuous marketing on Visit Sweden’s dutch web and social media channels on behalf of Visit Sweden. 

1) For Visit Sweden / All of Sweden (on a monthly basis)
Plan and conduct creative production, publish and analyze marketing efforts according to team cycle and plan with a focus on the Dutch market. Estimated time/month: 99 hours, focusing on;

a) Web management on Visitsweden.NL (i.e, writing, translations, and publications in our CMS, apart from production, publications maintenance is part of the responsibility to make sure the health score of the site is well kept)

b) Social Media Management on owned channels for the Dutch market (proactive and reactive work)

c) Follow-up and reporting to secure delivery on set KPI:s

d) Trend spotting within areas of expertise and sharing of insights back to team

e) From time-to-time other activities close to above (such as the implementation of campaigns on the local market, language quality assurance)

To carry out the marketing activity “Yearly Plan Travel Trade France 2023”, on behalf of Visit Sweden.

1) For Visit Sweden / All of Sweden (on a monthly basis)

Plan, implement and final report the sub-project “Project Travel Trade France 2023” in travel trade based on a decided plan with a focus on France. Estimated time/month: 24 hours, focusing on

a. Handle the co-operation with selected tour operators on the French market
b. Handle incoming request. 
c. Follow up on request from Nordic Workshop France and Swedish Workshop Online

2) For Swedish destinations (upon request)

Offer product: “High-potential travel trade opportunities for market France”
