Övergripande uppdragsbeskrivning

Description:
Responsible for civil design and its deliverables (3D model, 2D drawings and other documents) as per Project Specification, Division of Work and Instructions as worked out with project team and local partners with regards to cost, time, and quality. The civil drawings should fulfil our internal minimum requirements as well as the local/national standards and norms. Use computers and selected programs for such matters as preparing reports and conducting analyses.
Tasks and qualifications required extended beyond Senior and Principal Engineer above. In addition, the below minimum requirements of education and experience:
• Well documented (10+ years) experience in relevant Engineering field.
• On a national level unique competence relevant to the special q qualifications and requirements for the assignment.
• Other factors which can qualify is a post-graduate degree (Doctor degree) in a relevant area or other documented credentials.

Lead and coordinate civil design activities across international projects, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and internal standards. work with a diverse, global team:
• Coordinate and oversee all civil design aspects of assigned projects.
• Ensure compliance with client technical specifications and Hitachi Energy standards.
• Manage the technical procurement process for external civil design services.
• Monitor and control civil design deliverables to meet budget, scope, and schedule.
• Review and validate civil design drawings and documentation.
• Share engineering best practices across projects and disciplines.
• Develop work plans and cost estimates, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
• Support contract managers in handling scope changes, claims, and risk assessments.
• Your leadership will directly influence the success of complex, large-scale industrial projects, ensuring safety, quality, and innovation at every step.
Background:
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years experience in civil engineering, preferably on large industrial projects involving full building structures.
• Experience in both EP and EPC project environments is a plus.
• Prior hands-on experience as a Civil Designer is advantageous.
• Familiarity with procurement processes for civil design and construction.
• Proven ability to coordinate across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Advanced proficiency in English is mandatory. Swedish is an advantage and other languages are beneficial.
• A flexible, open-minded approach and strong interpersonal skills.
• PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
Extension can be extended up to 6 months. Time-limited assignment.
Occasional travel for projects.
Preferable location is Ludvika however Västerås area is also fine.

Levels with numbers (1-5): Increasing experience from 1=Very Junior up to 5=Very Experienced

PLEASE NOTE: From the offered hourly rate, the contractual fee of 4.23% (MSP 2,13% + KeyMan 2,1%) will be deducted.
If we end up in a contract the consultant must undergo a drug test before the assignment can start. The consultant then also must have a certificate for SSG-Entré and sign a NDA.
Remote work WITHIN SWEDEN may be possible – upon agreement, possible later on during the assignment. Preferable location is Ludvika, however, Västerås area is also fine.
