We are now looking for a SE_Strategic Sourcing Experienced Professional to Hitachi Energy Sweden AB in Västerås.

PLEASE NOTE: Work location can be either Ludvika or Västerås.
Remote work: not at the beginning but later on partly up to 2 days/week.

Description:

Manages or performs strategic sourcing work to manage risk and optimize the value/resilience of materials/services sourcing including: Establishing supplier relationship management processes and continuous improvement goals/programs. Negotiating contracts and coordinating supplier integration plans with internal clients. Monitoring market dynamics that impact materials/services availability and/or pricing. Partnering with internal clients to identify sourcing needs, develop buyer/market profiles, identify marketplace trends, and define acceptable service levels. A Senior Professional (P3) applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities may include: Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision. Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.

This role is a Category Specialist which is working closely with the Category Manager and support the Category Manager. This Category is Software and licenses. Manage demand from the organization for software and licenses. Build up a structure between SCM and stakeholders. Dialogue with suppliers, manage RFQ, place some Purchase Orders.

Work requirements:
• Placing purchase orders in our system SAP and others for your area of responsibility.
• Responsible for follow-up and OTD of the deliveries.
• Collaborating with suppliers including forecasting.
• Actively participating in meetings with related departments.
• Analyzing material consumption and proposed update of master data in SAP.
• Contributing to the development of our internal processes.

Your Background
• Several years of experience in the manufacturing industry and IT background.
• You take ownership, are structured, goal-oriented, and strive for continuous improvement.
• A team player with a solution-driven mindset.
• Strong analytical skills, helping you define and prioritize tasks for the best of the unit.
• Fluent in English and Swedish strongly preferred, both spoken and written.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is considered positive.
• Knowledge of SAP, power BI, Excel and similar ERP systems is a plus.

PLEASE NOTE: From the offered hourly rate, the contractual fee of 4.23% (MSP 2,13% + KeyMan 2,1%) will be deducted.

If we end up in a contract the consultant must undergo a drug test before the assignment can start. The consultant then also must have a certificate for SSG-Entré and sign a NDA.
