We are now looking for a SE_Manufacturing Finished Goods Inventory Planning & Control Experienced Professional  to Hitachi Energy Sweden AB in Ludvika.

Description:
Plans and/or controls inventory of finished goods for sales warehouses, distribution centers, and factory mixing points to meet sales and distribution demandAnalyzes inventory levels, inventory positioning, and planned production and sales forecasts. Develops and maintains inputs to inventory system, including network changes, lead-times, cost and delivery expectations, past and future promotional events, and new product introductions. Coordinates with traffic, production planning, and warehouse personnel to ensure appropriate routing, scheduling, and storing of goods.

An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. May require the following proficiency: Works independently with general supervision. Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex. May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.

Purpose:
Focus on stock balance, inventory and support for production
The Warehouse Keeper is responsible for ensuring correct inventory balances, leading inventory work and supporting production with access to the right materials at the right time. The role requires accuracy, system experience and understanding of material flows in an industrial environment with demands on quality and traceability

Approach:
-Segmentation and Delivery Plan: Define and revise strategies for inventory levels. Segment the material portfolio through an ABC/XYZ analysis, product lifecycle management, and commercial policy. Define inventory policies according to segmentation.
-Inventory Parameters and Forecasting: Attend sales and production planning meetings and contribute to the process by creating inventory forecasts for critical materials and suppliers. Calculate and maintain in the planning systems and ERP systems the asset parameters: safety stock, reorder point and replenishment strategies. Update the ERP according to the agreed and approved asset policy.
-Inventory control: Handle MRP (material requirements planning) exception notifications frequently. Support cycle counting and/or year-end inventory. Conduct financial risk assessments related to stocks, conducting root cause analysis when necessary.
-Inventory performance: Analyze slow mobility, excess and obsolete inventory, and remaining in WIP. Take appropriate measures to optimize inventory levels, in collaboration with sales, marketing, production, and SCM.
-Engage in setting up suppliers’ inventory routines to optimize the flow of internal materials.

Responsibility:
• Check, update and follow up on stock levels in ERP/warehouse systems
• Carry out bicycle inventories and lead and participate in whole/partial inventories
• Work systematically to prevent and correct deviations in the stock balance
• Handle materials in/out of production according to established routines
• Ensure that articles are correctly labelled and stored according to FIFO or other principles
• Record receiving, incoming, and outgoing with high accuracy
• Collaborate closely with planning, purchasing, preparation, quality department as well as warehouse and production staff.
• Contribute to improvements in warehouse structure, flow, processes and routines.

Requirements & competence:
• Experience of warehouse work in industrial manufacturing
• Used to inventory and inventory monitoring in business systems (e.g. Monitor, Pyramid, SAP)
• Good system understanding and knowledge of article structure and material handling
• Understanding of traceability, batch management and quality requirements
• Swedish and English required (position collaborates with a lot of local stakeholders and therefore native / bilingual Swedish is needed + professional English)
• Great command of MS Suite (Excel etc)

Interview Process:
Stage 1 on Teams – 60 mins
Stage 2 if successful, onsite meeting – 60 mins

Levels with letters (A-F): Increasing experience from F=Very Junior up to A=Very Experienced
