Description:
Apply strong IS application technology knowledge and expertise to any application IS activity within all IS process domains, especially within BUILD and RUN to support global business needs and help solving difficult topics. IS capable to work independently. On assignment identifies, proposes, advises and implements existing IS application technology and IS solutions/services, sharing knowledge and depending on seniority – guiding others on implementation and operation, using understanding of existing IS application technology and business requirements.
Minimum requirements of education and experience:
- 3-5 years of work experience within the relevant field and a bachelor or master’s degree,
- Another IT degree with more than 15 years of work experience within relevant field.
- Working command of the English language.

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Specialist to apply strong technical expertise in IS application technology to drive business success globally. As a key member of our team, you will work independently to identify, propose, advise on, and implement Business Intelligence solutions that meet the needs of our organization.
The assignment focuses on supporting selected functions within HVDC, where you will take ownership of an existing portfolio of BI solutions. This includes responsibility for ongoing improvements as well as new development driven by evolving business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply IS application technology expertise to deliver business intelligence services across all IS process domains.
- Act as a consultant and advisor to business stakeholders, translating business requirements into effective BI solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement tailored analytics and reporting solutions.
- Analyze and interpret complex data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Take ownership of high-priority initiatives, identifying improvement opportunities and delivering measurable business value.
- Share knowledge and best practices with stakeholders and colleagues, including guidance on solution implementation and operation.

- Extensive experience with Power BI (DAX, Power Query M)
- Low-code app development using Power Apps (Canvas, Model-driven, and Dataverse)
- SQL
- SharePoint

Minimum Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant work experience, supported by a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- Proven experience with business intelligence tools, technologies, and data-driven solution delivery.
- Strong working command of English; Swedish language skills are considered meritorious.
NOTE:
- Must have availability to work on-site in Västerås one day per week.
- One stage interview via TEAMS.

PLEASE NOTE: From the offered hourly rate, the contractual fee of 4.23% (MSP 2,13% + KeyMan 2,1%) will be deducted.
If we end up in a contract the consultant must undergo a drug test before the assignment can start. The consultant then also must have a certificate for SSG-Entré and sign a NDA.
Some remote work WITHIN SWEDEN is possible – Must have availability to work on-site in Västerås one day per week.
