Övergripande uppdragsbeskrivning

Our customer, a leader in the Paper and Pulp industry, is embarking on a strategic transition to a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (SAP S/4HANA). Our aim is to optimize our business processes, improve cross-departmental information flow, and enhance our data management capabilities.

We are seeking an experienced Test Lead to join our Atlas program test team. As the Test Lead you will drive all aspects and focus on test planning, leading teams of testers, handle and following up on incidents, and communication/training related to testing in all test phases based on the test methodology. As Test lead you will be part of the Test Center of Excellence (CoE) and will be a key part to collaborate closely with the process workstream and other enabling teams. You will report to the central Test Manager.
Main location is Solna Office, but the organisation has operations spread out in mainly Sweden, Finland and the US. Some travel may be part of the role.

Key responsibilities of this role:

– With the Test CoE team, develop a comprehensive test plan. This involves understanding the requirements, defining the scope of testing, and determining the appropriate testing methods.

– Leading teams of testers and monitor the test progress. Ensure that all test members are adequately trained to perform their testing activities efficiently.

– Responsible for overseeing the actual execution of test cases. This involves coordinating with BPL/SME, solution architects, developers and other stakeholders to prioritize and schedule testing activities.

– Lead and drive test execution in the different test phases. Initially this covers user acceptance testing but in future projects it may cover additional test phases as well.

– Responsible for overseeing the defect management process, which involves documenting, tracking, and ensuring resolution to any issues or bugs discovered during testing. This includes working closely with the implementation partner and development team to ensure that defects are addressed and fixed in a timely manner.

– Responsible for ensuring effective communication between the teams and project stakeholders involved in testing. Provide regular updates on the testing progress, highlight any issues or risks, and ensure that  stakeholders are kept informed about the overall testing status.

– Leadership support and advocacy. Work closely with the central test manager and the other test lead in the Test CoE workstream to ensure they are single point of truth for test methodology (incl test data coordination).

Skallkrav

Educational Background:
Documented Test management e.g. ISTQB certification or similar education and communication skills
Bachelor or Master degree in applicable area is preferred
Proven experience as a leader in managing test in a large complex transformation program
Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and different testing methodologies. Advantage of experience in testing in an agile methodology.
Strong understanding of end-to-end test data quality management
Extensive experience and understanding of large global ERP standard system processes (e.g. SAP)
System implementation experience is required, experience in process industry is preferred.
Excellent documentation skills to maintain clear and concise records of testing activities. This includes writing test plans, test cases, and test reports.
Strong test management abilities, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and meet deadlines.
Experience in larger Test management tool.
Fluency in English and Swedish in both verbal and written
