Övergripande uppdragsbeskrivning
The program includes six work streams/projects with supporting enablement teams (development, test, deploy and data) The first Go live is in November 2025. The program roadmap continues with roll-out and further development until 2029.
The enablement team within Data has the responsibility of the maintenance after Go live of Advanced Variant Configuration in SAP. Therefore the Data enablement team needs strengthening the team with a Variant Configuration Specialist before first Go live.
This request is for a Variant Configuration Specialist working within Data enablement team. Bringing capability and capacity to support with maintenance and management of Variant Configurating in SAP. The Variant Configuration Specialist will work in a central master data maintenance team, in close collaboration with the Business data lead within each work stream, and the Data Architect within Data enablement team.
Main focus areas/deliverables:
As a Variant Configuration Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining configurable product models within SAP AVC (Advanced Variant Configuration). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and ensure the accuracy and integrity of product data.
Main location is Solna Office, but the organisation has operations spread out in mainly Sweden, Finland and the US. Some travel might be part of the role during the roll-out phase
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain SAP VC models for configurable products, including characteristics, dependencies, and rules.
– Ensure the accuracy, consistency and integration of AVC in different processes.
– Perform regular quality checks and testing of configured models to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications.
– Create and maintain documentation for configuration models, processes, and procedures.
– Technical support and consulting of internal stakeholders with the AVC and troubleshooting
– Continuous improvements on the design and implementation of AVC as the SAP solution evolves.
Skallkrav
Educational Background:
Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
Proven experience in variant configuration, preferably with SAP AVC
Strong proficiency in SAP AVC/VC, SAP S/4HANA, and related tools (SAP Fiori)
Knowledge of data management principles and practices
Experience with CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) tools and other configuration management software
Experience from process industry, preferably pulp and paper or similar heavy industry
Previous experience from SAP implementation programs, including data migration where configurable products are used
