We are now looking for a SE_HR Operations Senior Professional (experinced Payroll Specialist) to Hitachi Energy Sweden AB in Västerås.

NOTE: We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist.

 
Description:

HR Operations includes work across multiple administration areas for established HR and rewards programs including: HR employment issues (hiring and termination processes and labor law issues, contract renewals and dismissals, trainee programs, expatriates, control/process of retirement, etc.). Personnel records maintenance (job history, retirement and insurance documentation, leave accrual records and details of illness, absences, transfers, and salary progression, etc.). Statistical reporting to internal management (employee demographics, skills inventory, absenteeism, overtime, employee turnover) and external agencies (e.g., government agencies, insurance companies, unions etc.). Rewards program implementation and administration (e.g., compensation administration, employee benefits administration, etc.). May be accountable for selecting and managing HR outsourcing vendors.

A Senior Professional (P3) applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities may include: Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision. Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.

We are seeking an **experienced Payroll Specialist** with strong knowledge of the full payroll process and hands‑on experience with pension administration.
The consultant will play an important role in our team, ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient handling of payroll, agreements, and pension‑related tasks.
Hybrid work is possible in dialogue with manager, max 2 days from home.
Language both Swedish and English is to prefer.

Qualifications:

  • Several years of experience as a Payroll Specialist or Payroll Administrator.
  • Solid knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and compliance.
  • Experience in pension administration and insurance matters.
  • Meritorious: in‑depth knowledge of the Technology Industry Agreements (IF Metall, Unionen, Engineers, and Managers).
  • Comfortable working with payroll and HR systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and high attention to details.
Responsibilities:
  • Independent responsibility for all stages of the payroll process.
  • Administration of time reporting, absences, travel expenses, and reimbursements.
  • Pension and insurance administration, including reporting.
  • Interpretation and application of collective agreements – particularly the Technology Industry Agreements.
  • Providing support to managers and employees regarding payroll, pensions, and agreements.
  • Communication with authorities, unions, and external partners.
  • Active participation in developing and improving routines and processes.

PLEASE NOTE: From the offered hourly rate, the contractual fee of 4.23% (MSP 2,13% + KeyMan 2,1%) will be deducted.

If we end up in a contract the consultant must undergo a drug test before the assignment can start. The consultant then also must have a certificate for SSG-Entré and sign a NDA.

Some remote work WITHIN SWEDEN is possible – in dialogue with manager, max 2 days from home.
