We are now looking for a SE_IS APplication Specialist – Principle/Partner (Level 6) to Hitachi Energy Sweden AB in Ludvika or Västerås

Description:
Apply strong IS application technology knowledge and expertise to any application IS activity within all IS process domains, especially within BUILD and RUN to support global business needs and help solving difficult topics. IS capable to work independently. On assignment identifies, proposes, advises and implements existing IS application technology and IS solutions/services, sharing knowledge and: depending on seniority – guiding others on implementation and operation, using understanding of existing IS application technology and business requirements.

In addition, the below minimum requirements of education and experience:
• Well documented 10-12 years experience in relevant IT field
• On a national level unique competence relevant to the special qualifications and requirements for the assignment
• Other factors which can qualify is a post-graduate degree (Doctor degree) in a relevant area or other documented credentials.

Additional Information:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Engineering Change Manager to lead the development and deployment of engineering change processes across the HVDC organization, with a strategic focus on supporting our transition from an Engineer-to-Order (ETO) to a Configure-to-Order (CETO) delivery model.
This role is critical in establishing harmonized change control practices that span both product and project portfolios, ensuring cross-functional alignment, traceability, and governance throughout the lifecycle of our modular HVDC solutions.

Key Responsibilities

– Design, implement, and lead engineering change processes that align with modular product structures and project-specific needs in the HVDC business.
– Drive the shift from fragmented, project-level change handling to a centralized, end-to-end product plus project portfolio change approach.
– Identify and engage key stakeholders across engineering, product management, quality, supply chain, IT, and project execution functions.
– Facilitate cross-functional change boards, decision forums, and engineering governance structures.
– Establish change traceability across the lifecycle, linking features, configurations, requirements, and product baselines with change records.
– Ensure readiness for change management in the context of modularization, reuse, and product standardization strategies.
– Define KPIs and reporting mechanisms for change efficiency, impact analysis, and lead times.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Product Development, or related technical field.
– At least 10+ years of experience in engineering change management within complex industrial or infrastructure environments.
– Proven experience in driving change processes during ETO to CETO transitions or modular product development initiatives.
– Strong understanding of PLM and ERP platforms and their role in change control (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill, SAP).
– Ability to work across functional silos and facilitate consensus on change governance.
– Analytical mindset with skills in impact analysis, root cause investigation, and process mapping.
– Proficiency in MS Office and change management tools (e.g., PLM workflows, dashboards).
– Fluency in English. Swedish language proficiency is a plus.

PLEASE NOTE: From the offered hourly rate, the contractual fee of 4.23% (MSP 2,13% + KeyMan 2,1%) will be deducted.

If we end up in a contract the consultant must undergo a drug test before the assignment can start. The consultant then also must have a certificate for SSG-Entré and sign a NDA.

Some remote work WITHIN SWEDEN may be possible, but Onsite preferred.
