• Your Responsibilities:
• Develop new cooling technologies and improve existing ones to enhance the performance of HVDC converter Valves and its cooling system.
• Conduct research, testing, and validation of cooling systems using advanced modelling, simulation, and analysis tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, mechanical, and software engineers, to integrate cooling systems into designs.
• Evaluate and select materials, components, and suppliers for cooling systems based on technical requirements, cost, and reliability.
• Support product development projects by providing technical guidance, troubleshooting, and problem-solving expertise.

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 7+ years of experience with new product development, flow simulations, control of liquid cooling system and automation and process systems
• Understanding of semiconductor cooling, Rth, junction temperature, parameters affecting thermal flow such as heat sink flatness
• Knowledge of fieldbus technology, component/instrument, deionizing chemistry, and cooling system redundancy philosophy will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of cooling systems simulation and calculation such as 2/3D 2-phase CFD simulations and 1D pressure drop calculations of full cooling.
• Proficiency in 3D-CAD modeling, ideally in NX environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in Ansys Fluent or similar software is preferred.
• Fluency in English.
