Övergripande uppdragsbeskrivning
Description:
R&D Verification and validation (V&V) consists of being part of verification and validation planning, execution, documentation of results and communication of results back to our design teams. Verification and validation is conducted within the following technology areas, Electronics Hardware, Software, Field programmable gate arrays (FPGA) and Mechanics. Work processes and associated tools are provided, and the expectation is that processes are followed and provided tools are used unless other agreements are made.
Under general guidance of supervisor or more experienced engineer, perform various engineering duties requiring the exercise of judgment and application of standard engineering principles and practices. Pursue initiatives to improve effectiveness of the group and increase customer satisfaction or full fill legal or other agency requirements.
Minimum requirements of education and experience:
• 2-6 years of work experience within the relevant field and a bachelor or master’s degree, or
• Another technical degree with 10-15 years of work experience within relevant field.
• Working command of the English language.
Additional Hiring Information for Supplier:
Within R&D perform product & system testing on Protection & control products i.e. Relion 670/650 series etc that are used in substation automation during product development prior product release. Work in a team which consists of five test engineers and a test lead. As a test engineer responsible for:
• Development and maintenance of test specifications based on product requirements.
• Configuration of the product and system before tests according to specifications and substation automation standards.
• Establishment of test setup with auxiliary equipment, wiring, and supervision.
• Automation of test cases when possible.
• Execution of tests.
• Reporting and documentation of test results.
• Electrical safety during the tests Required background:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• Good knowledge about substation automation and standards in the fied e.g. IEC61850 etc
• Good knowledge about communication protocols and systems.
• 2-5 years of practical work experience in the substation automation field with protection relays and/or system.
NOTE!
Location: 100% on-site in Västerås office.
Fluent in both English and Swedish needed for this position.
Levels with numbers (1-5): Increasing experience from 1=Very Junior up to 5=Very Experienced
Levels with letters (A-F): Increasing experience from F=Very Junior up to A=Very Experienced

PLEASE NOTE: From the offered hourly rate, the contractual fee of 4.23% (MSP 2,13% + KeyMan 2,1%) will be deducted.
If we end up in a contract the consultant must undergo a drug test before the assignment can start. The consultant then also must have a certificate for SSG-Entré and sign a NDA.
The assignment is Onsite.
